Please read and accept our warranty policies below to continue with your warranty claim.
At Uncle Wieners, we strive to make the warranty claim process as painless as possible. Please read the notes below for a general outline of our warranty policy.
When you notice the attachment/product is not performing properly or is experiencing issues, stop and call our Customer Support Team. Our Customer Support staff can assist with most common issues over the phone, saving you diagnostic time and minimizing interruptions in your work.
To expedite the warranty process, we will need pictures of the issue(s) and overall condition of the attachment. These pictures should be submitted by email to [email address removed]. Photo documentation is required for all warranty claims. Warranty claims cannot be provided if there is no photo documentation of the issues.
We want to resolve issues as efficiently as possible, so we will cover the cost of standard LTL freight and standard ground shipping on warranty parts and attachments sent from the warehouse to the dealer or customer. Next Day Air (NDA) or any other special freight services are not covered under warranty but can be arranged at the dealer and/or customer’s expense.

CYLINDERS:
Cylinders are covered for (1) year. Disassembly of the cylinder will void the cylinder warranty. In any event of a cylinder failure, submit a warranty claim prior to disassembly or repair. Cylinders under warranty get exchanged if found to be defective. For a cylinder claim to be granted, the defective cylinder must be returned to Uncle Wieners at the customer’s expense. If the cylinder is confirmed defective, Uncle Wieners will cover the shipping of the new cylinder. If the cylinder is confirmed as non-defective, the customer is responsible for shipping it back and or the cost of the replacement cylinder.

BREAKERS:
The Uncle Wieners hammer breakers and post pounders come with a one (1) year parts warranty. Disassembly of the breaker in any way may void the warranty. Please contact Uncle Wieners for instructions and authorization before taking apart to verify warranty. Bent and broken tools are not covered by warranty; see ‘Exclusions’ section below.
BRUSH CUTTERS, ALL MODELS
All Uncle Wieners brush cutters have a one (1) year parts warranty. Disassembly of the cutter in any way, including the blade carrier, housing components, and/or motor, may void the warranty. Please contact Uncle Wieners for instructions and authorization before taking apart to verify warranty.

GRAPPLES:
All grapples manufactured by Uncle Wieners Attachments have a one (1) year part warranty. Faulty cylinders are covered by warranty. Do not disassemble the faulty cylinder, it will be replaced outright under warranty coverage. Bent tines and/or bent hydraulic cylinders are not covered nor implied by warranty.
HOSES, COUPLERS, HOSE ROUTING, AND CONNECTIONS:
Uncle Wieners supplies our attachments with hoses that are the proper size for most machines, but because the configuration varies by manufacturer, we cannot guarantee that the hose length will be correct on every machine or for every routing. It is the responsibility of the end user to adjust the length of the hoses to fit their specific machine. It is also the responsibility of the end user to ensure the hose routing is such that the hoses will not become tangled, caught, pinched, crushed, or run over during operation. It is the end user’s responsibility to ensure that the hose routing clears pinch points and allows the attachment to move properly. Uncle Wieners will not cover hose or coupler damage due to poor hose routing.
Uncle Wieners supplies most of our attachments with standard couplers, some attachments and couplers are sold separately. The coupler configuration on machines can vary by manufacturer so we cannot guarantee that the standard coupler will be correct on every application. For applications where couplers are sold separately, they will be shipped with the attachment when it leaves our facility if it is noted on the order. Uncle Wieners is not responsible for the coupler sizes of your machine.

HYDRAULIC MOTORS:
Uncle Wieners products with hydraulic motors have a one (1) year warranty on parts and labour. Disassembly of the motor voids the motor warranty. In the event of a motor issue, submit a warranty claim before disassembling anything to avoid the potential of voiding the motor’s warranty. Our product support team will advise on the proper diagnostic procedure for hydraulic motors. Do not disassemble the motor. Motors under warranty get exchanged if found to be defective. Uncle Wieners will need the motor returned to our warehouse. Blown seals are not covered under warranty and are not considered a defect of the product. Do not disassemble the motor. Disassembly of the motor voids the motor warranty.

STUMP GRINDERS:
Uncle Wieners Stump Grinders have a one (1) year warranty policy on parts and labour*. Disassembly of the grinder in any way, including housing components, and/or motor, may void the warranty. Please contact Uncle Wieners for instructions and authorization before taking apart to verify warranty. Broken teeth are not covered by warranty; see ‘Exclusions’ section below.

SHEDS/SHELTERS:
Uncle Wieners sheds and shelters have a one (1) year warranty against manufacturing defects. Any modifications to the shed/shelter will void the warranty. Failure to adhere to and install the units per the manual will void the product warranty. These structures are intended for temporary outdoor storage use only. They are not designed to withstand heavy snow and wind loads and do not come with engineering drawings. To ensure suitable for your specific weather needs, it is your responsibility to verify their appropriateness for your intended use and local weather conditions, especially in areas prone to severe weather.

OTHER ATTACHMENTS:

For attachments not specifically mentioned above, Uncle Wieners provides a one (1) year warranty, covering defects in manufacturing.

EXCLUSIONS:

Warranty coverage does not extend to bent tines or cylinders. Damage resulting from external factors, such as weather events, is also excluded. Components that engage with the ground, including blades, teeth, shanks, cutting edges, PTO shafts, and hoses, are considered subject to normal wear and tear and are not covered unless a clear manufacturing defect is evident. Any modifications or alterations to the product may void the warranty. Uncle Wieners reserves the right to assess and decline warranty claims at its discretion.

OWNERSHIP AND VALIDITY:

This warranty is exclusively valid for products purchased at retail through www.unclewieners.com or authorized Uncle Wieners dealers. All warranty claims require proof of purchase. Uncle Wieners does not provide warranty coverage for products acquired from third-party sellers, including but not limited to auction houses. Items purchased at auction, even if described as "new in box," are considered "as is" and are not eligible for our retail warranty.
